Design Iittala Ballo
The Iittala Ballo Votive tealight holder was produced between 1990 and 1999. The Ballo was designed by the Finnish glass artist Annaleena Hakatie. It is a modern and functional design object. What is special about the iittala Ballo’s is that they are made of colored glass through and through. This is in contrast to other tea light holders where the glass is painted on the outside. The technique of colored glass through and through provides a particularly rich color.
