Valto Kokko
Born in 1933, Valto Kokko graduated from the Free Art School of Unto Pusa in Finland. His association with Iittala began in 1963. He was asked to design light fixtures. Valto Kokko is responsible for the entire range of i-VALO. i-VALO is a lamp manufacturer and subsidiary of Iittala.
From 1973 Valto Kokko started experimenting with glass. In 1978 he designed the Otso line for Iittala. This line is now part of the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
