Argentinian-born Alfredo Häberli was asked to design a special collection for the occasion. He chose a mix of all nine colorful collections he previously designed for Iittala. Hence the name Origo Mix.

Designer Aflredo Häberli was inspired by his earlier Iittala designs for the Origo Mix collection. For the Origo Mix collection he combined the colors of his earlier designs. The Origo Mix collection was only produced between 2009 and 2010. That is why this collection is one of the rarest of the Origo line.
