Beautiful Iittala Kivi candle holder, 80 mm in Sand color. The Iittala Kivi candle holders are hand-pressed at the Iittala glass factory in Finland. They are available in a wide range of colors. Each Kivi is produced according to its own glass recipe developed specifically for that color, giving the thick glass a soft glow. This adds a warm atmosphere to any interior. Additionally, the candle holders are marked on the underside with Mari Mekko.

Design Iittala Kivi
The name Kivi comes from the Finnish word for stone. These small jewels of light were designed by Heikki Orvola in 1988. The Kivis enhance the light of the flame and make it even more intense. What’s special about Iittala Kivis is that they are made of colored glass throughout, unlike other tealight holders where the glass is painted on the outside. The technique of colored glass throughout ensures an exceptionally rich color.
