Markku Juhani Saolo is a Finnish designer and glass artist. He is known for his impressive glass works made with different techniques. Markku Salo graduated in 1974 as a visual artist from the Kankaanp\u00e4\u00e4 School of Art. Until 1983, Salo worked at Salora first as a designer of televisions and sound equipment and then as head of the design department.
